the international propaganda division（國際 宣傳 處） of
the GMD central propaganda bureau,
said in his autobiography（曾虚白 自傳）(vol. I, p. 201)

was an adviser（顧問） to the GMD government（中華民國政府）,
according to a contemporary newspaper article.
Also, the China Monthly revealed
that the wife of George A. Fitch（Fitch之妻子）,
who also wrote a part of Timperly’s What War Means,
was a close friend（好友）of Chiang Kai-shek（蒋 介石）’s wife（宋美齢）.(iii)

speech censorshipcontrol as well as propaganda.
One will note that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) today
has a section that performs the same functions.
